August 2nd & 3rd: Central Missouri 100 Mile Route 66 Yard Sale Come explore Route 66 with over 175  yard sale sites for bargain and treasure hunting galore! Enjoy the Mother Road with all its vintage glory while you search for those great deals. Be sure to stop for a great meal or treat or spend the night in the middle of it all in Pulaski County! Sales are located in Laclede, Webster, and Pulaski Counties with locations and times that vary each day, map of sales locations coming soon!

August 17th - 18th: Bad Dawg Ultra 50k/50mile/100k/100mile and 12-mile run/walk/ruck Begins 6 am on Aug. 17th and ends at 12 pm on Aug. 18th. (30 hour cut off) This no-frills 100/50/100k/50k race and the 12-mile run/ruck is the perfect event for those people who love running; first-time ultra runners and also for those wanting a shorter distance. This is an event put on by ultrarunners for ultrarunners. 25785 Red Oak Rd Waynesville, MO 65583 Registration is Required

August 24th: Jeep Fest 9:30 am - 2 pm This is a family friendly event - offering free admission and events for all ages! JeepFest will include concessions, music, vendors, and, of course, everything JeepFest! Register your jeep beginning at 9:30 am for a change to win the golden duck. Saint Robert Community Center at 114 JH Williamson Drive in Saint Robert, MO 65584 Festival entry is free, jeep competition requires entry fee.

Museums, Farmers Markets, & Reoccurring Events

Every Saturday April thru October: Old Stagecoach Stop Museum 10 am - 4 pm The oldest building in Pulaski County built by W.W. McDonald in the mid 1850's and contains 10 rooms of history that have been restored to a different significant period in building's past. 106 Lynn Street in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.

Every Saturday April thru September: 1903 Route 66 Courthouse Museum 11 am - 4 pm  The original courthouse for Pulaski County and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Displays focus on the Trail of Tears, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, local history, and collections of quilts, farm equipment, and antiques. 303 Historic Route 66 in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.

Year Round: Mahaffey Museum Complex Mon thru Fri 8 am - 4 pm & Sat 9 am - 3 pm Mahaffey Museum Complex houses the rich history and contributions of the Military Police, Army Engineers, and Chemical Warfare Units. This complex is adjacent to the WWII Army Complex Museum which replicates Fort Leonard Wood as it was during the 1940’s and the Memorial Grove area. 14296 South Dakota Avenue, Building 1607 on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 Closed August 30th - September 2nd & Federal Holidays Museums are free, but Post Access to FLW is required.

By Appointment: Frisco Depot Museum & Caboose Local history museum featuring numerous artifacts and exhibits detailing the history of the railroad and the lives who helped build it. Guests can even get their photo with a real Frisco Caboose on display just steps away from the museum! Call Crocker City Hall to make appointment 573-736-5327  Museum located at 109 10th Street in Crocker, Missouri 65452 Museum entrance is free, but donations are appreciated.

Every Saturday: *Pulaski County Farmers Market 8 am - 12 pm This weekly, year round market features fresh produce, baked goods, live plants, crafts, pet items, kid vendors and other home-made goods. Local authors, special vendors & food trucks vary by season. Farmers Market Pavilion, near the Roubidoux Spring Campground in Waynesville, MO 65583 *Vendors and product availability dependent on weather and other factors. 

August 10th: Crocker Farmers Market  9 am - 1 pm The market vendors vary and offer a selection of homemade, home grown, or home cooked goods. Market located Crocker Community Park at 113 Park Street in Crocker, Missouri 65452

August 17th & Every Third Saturday: FFG Monthly 5K Donut Run Begins at 8 am Come run, walk, or bike this free, fun, 5K where everyone is welcome, and then stay for some tasty donuts and coffee! Normal location is Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, be sure to follow Healthy Futures Pulaski County on Face book for event updates and location changes. This month's donut run will be at the same location as the Bad Dawg Ultra 25785 Red Oak Road in Waynesville, MO 65583

August 3rd: 6th Annual Leathernecks Motorcycle Club - Car and Bike Show  Multiple categories to choose from and view! Show registration starts at 10 am and awards at 1 pm. American Legion 484 South Outer Road in Saint Robert, MO 65584

August 3rd: Jamaican Independence Day Celebration 3 pm - 9 pm Come celebrate Jamaica’s Independence with authentic Jamaican food, drinks, games and entertainment for everyone including Jamaican Dance and showcase. Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583

August 6th: National Night Out Pulaski County 6 pm - 8 pm Bring the family and come celebrate National Night Out! National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie at Pulaski County Farmer Market Pavilion in Waynesville, MO 65583. Free event

August 10th: Legends in Music, Fabulous Fakes Dinner Show 5 pm - 7:45 pm An evening with impersonators and music and a great meal! What famous person will serve you? The Barn in Dixon 13015 Hwy 28 in Dixon, MO 65459 Tickets Required can be purchased at Dixon Pilot or at the door on the day of the event

August 31st: The Fallen Outdoors Sportsman’s Banquet 5:30 pm - 10 pm This is an awesome sportsman’s banquet is an evening filled with raffles, games, food, and fellowship. The Fallen Outdoors goal is to get veterans into the woods and on the water. Banquet is at Saint Robert Community Center at 114 JH Williamson Drive in Saint Robert, MO 65584  Tickets are required
