The City of St. Robert Cordially invites you to Missouri's First Route 66 Neon Park Lighting Ceremony.
Come be part of this historical event as signs from the past get reborn as their neon glows for the first time in many years.
Left to rust and rot away in roadside fields, buried beneath piles of junk in dusty sheds, or threatened with being dismantled. The beautifully crafted neon signs that once beckoned travelers along the Mother Road have been given a new lease on life. Each has been painstakingly restored to their mid-century modern glory and donated to the City of Saint Robert.
The restored signs light up the evening sky above lighted pathways for visitors to view the signs up close. Lighted storyboards share the history of each sign.
