December 5th - 26th: Light Up Pulaski County  A holiday lights celebration and contest bringing cheer and brightening spirits in our homes and community. This is a great opportunity for revisiting traditions and creating memories by loading up family and friends to share in the joy that holiday lights bring. View light displays throughout Pulaski County from 6 pm - Midnight. Pulaski County Wide Free event!

December 5th: Christmas on the Square 6 pm - 9 pm  A community give back event! Over 100 vendors with many giving away free food & beverages, gloves, winter coats and some booths available for purchasing Christmas items too. Pictures with Santa and the Grinch and the annual lighting of the Nativity Scene. Downtown Waynesville on the Historic Square in Waynesville, MO 65583 Free event!

December 7th: 5th Annual Squirrel Tournament 6 am - 3 pm Get your team together in support of the Fallen Outdoors for this great yearly event with prizes and awards for several categories. Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583 Tournament fees required

December 7th: Annual Craft & Antique Fair 9 am - 4 pm This annual craft fair showcases the talents of local artisans featuring quality original handmade crafts and provides a festive country market atmosphere perfect for your holiday shopping. Sponsored by Fort Wood Community Spouses' Club. Waynesville High School Gymnasium at 200 GW Lane in Waynesville, MO 65583 $5 entry fee required 12 years and under are free.

December 13th & 14th: Journey to Bethlehem 5 pm - 9 pm Come on this guided walking tour of Old Towne Bethlehem complete with live nativity scene and animals. Refreshments and also weather permitting, golf carts will be provided for the handicapped. Crocker Christian Church at 16200 Highway 17 South in Crocker, MO 65452 Free admittance and all are welcome!

Community, Recurring, and Other Events Worth the Mention

Every Saturday: *Pulaski County Farmers Market 8 am - 12 pm This year-round weekly market features fresh produce, baked goods, live plants, crafts, pet items, kid vendors and other homemade goods. Food trucks or guest vendors may also be present. Farmers Market Pavilion on Revere Lane by Roubidoux Spring Campground in Waynesville, MO 65583 *Selection varies depending on seasonal availability

December 1st: Kiwanis Club of Pulaski County Annual Christmas Parade 2 pm - 3:30 pm Come enjoy and see the many floats, classic cars, emergency service vehicles, and of course Santa Claus will make an appearance. Parade lines up and runs from Waynesville Middle School to the historic square in downtown Waynesville, MO 65583 Free event!

December 6th: PJ’s & Pancakes Come enjoy A Night in Whoville, a FREE family Christmas event from 5 pm - 7:30 pm. Bring the kinds in their pajamas for a pancake dinner, games, crafts, hot cocoa bar, and pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Cindy Lou Who and the Grinch! A free event at Waypoint Church 301 Highway T in Waynesville, Missouri 65583. Free event!

December 6th: FLW Tree Lighting & Cards to the Community 5:30 pm - 9 pm Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with the lighting of the Installation Christmas Tree, plus a very special visit from Santa Claus, activities, sweet treats, photo opportunities, and the announcement of the Cards to the Community winners. The Tree Lighting will be held at Joint Services Park, corner of Constitution and N Dakota Ave on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 This is a free event and is open to the public, but post access is required.

December 6th: Jingle Bell Jog  Get your festive outfit on and come run or walk this fun, free, festive, family friendly 5K with hot cocoa and Christmas cookies after the race! Prizes are given for the top three best dressed / most festive runners!! 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583 Free Event!

December 7th: Breakfast with Santa 9 am - 11 am Get into the Holiday spirit at Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, fun activities & crafts, and a visit with Santa Claus! Pershing Community Center at 16593 Piney Hills Drive, Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 This event requires tickets and registration, and is open to the public, but post access is required.

December 7th: Christmas on Main Street 5 pm - 7 pm  A city celebration with free carriage rides, food trucks, vendors, Christmas music, lighted Christmas Parade, free hot cocoa, FREE pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus,  & more! Norma Lee’s Frisco Park 103 N. Commercial Street, in Crocker, MO 65452 Free event but some activities may require a fee.

December 14th: Richland Annual Holiday Bazaar 10 am - 2 pm This festive event will feature a variety of local vendors offering unique gifts, handmade crafts, delicious treats, and so much more!  Shady Dell Park at L G Meyers Drive in Richland, MO 65556 Free Entrance

December 14th: Winter Ball hosted by Pulaski County Voice 5 pm - 8 pm Enjoy a delicious dinner, dancing, photo ops, raffles and a silent auction filled with exciting items at this night dedicated to celebrating our community and raising funds for PC Voice. The ARK Community & Sprots Center 25625 Highway 17 in Waynesville, MO 65583 Tickets are required.

December 21st: Cousin Eddie Christmas 5K Gather your best Cousin Eddie outfit and enjoy this FREE themed 5K for the holiday season beginning at 8 am at Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583 (this takes the place of the free donut 5k run for December) Free Event!

December 21st  December 14th: Richland Christmas Parade 11 am - 12 pm Come enjoy the Richland Christmas Parade and   Christmas Movie Magic, this year’s parade theme! Parade line up at Shady Dell Park in Richland, MO 65556 Free!  This event was rescheduled from December 14th to December 21st due to inclement weather!
