June 8th: 23rd Annual Marine Mess Volkslauf 10k Fun Run A challenging race beginning at 8 am that contains multiple man-made obstacles, mud pits, and river crossings, register individually or as a team. Race is on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 Open to the public, but post access is required.

June 12th thru 15th: Pulaski County Regional Fair Kick off summer with this exciting, yearly, 4-day family, friendly event! Enjoy carnival rides, live music bands, 4-H & FFA events, horticulture & livestock shows, dog show, corn hole tournament, free 5k Fair Color Run at 8 am on Saturday, and other free activities. Ticketed events include Lawn & Tractor Pull on Friday night and Extreme Bull Riding on Saturday night. Entrance to the fair is free, but carnival games, rides, and food require purchase.

June 15th: Hot Rods for Heroes Car Show and Cruise-In  Car show on Saturday and a Friday Cruise-In for two days of car fun! Car show registration begins at 9 am and the show will begin after registration. Burnout competition, vendors, benefit auction, music and more! Cruise-in the night before on Friday at 28 Shots beginning at 11am and Car Show on Saturday on 2nd & Elm both in Dixon, MO 65459 Proceeds to benefit veterans and first responders.

June 19th - 22nd: Pulaski County Juneteenth Fest Multiple events over several days in celebration of Juneteenth! NAACP Juneteenth Gala, Culture Day, Jazz Night, Family Day, NAACP Member Day & a basketball tournament. Event times, days and locations vary. June 22nd Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Unit 9 am – 3 pm  The Mobile Education Exhibit serves as a mobile museum with interactive exhibits, short films, and shared stories providing the unique opportunity for communities to come together, and educating visitors about the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes, as well as serving as an official ‘welcome home’ station for our nation’s Vietnam Veterans. Education unit will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery & Veterans Memorial at 25350 Highway H in Waynesville, Missouri 65583 Event is free and open to the public.

June 22nd & 23rd: 36th Annual Cave State Cruisers Car Show 9 am - 5 pm  A two-day car show with vehicles from all over Missouri and many other states! Special Awards, Door Prizes, Food Trucks, Vendors and MORE! This event is free and open to the public at Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583

Museums, Farmers Markets & Other Reoccurring Events

Every Saturday April thru October: Old Stagecoach Stop Museum 10 am - 4 pm  The oldest building in Pulaski County built by W.W. McDonald in the mid 1850's and contains 10 rooms of history that have been restored to a different significant period in building's past. 106 Lynn Street in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated. The Courthouse Museum will not be open on Saturday, June 15th.

Every Saturday April thru September: 1903 Route 66 Courthouse Museum 11 am - 4 pm  The original courthouse for Pulaski County and listed on National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Displays focus on the Trail of Tears, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, local history, and collections of quilts, farm equipment, and antiques. 303 Historic Route 66 in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.

Year Round: Mahaffey Museum Complex Mon thru Fri 8 am - 4 pm & Sat 9 am - 3 pm  Mahaffey Museum Complex houses the rich history and contributions of the Military Police, Army Engineers, and Chemical Warfare Units. This complex is adjacent to the WWII Army Complex Museum which replicates Fort Leonard Wood as it was during the 1940’s and the Memorial Grove area. 14296 South Dakota Avenue, Building 1607 on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 Closed Federal Holidays Museums are free, but Post Access to FLW is required.

By Appointment: Frisco Depot Museum & Caboose Local history museum featuring numerous artifacts and exhibits detailing the history of the railroad and the lives who helped build it. Guests can even get their photo with a real Frisco Caboose on display just steps away from the museum! Every Saturday: *Pulaski County Farmers Market 8 am - 12 pm This weekly, year round market features fresh produce, baked goods, locally roasted coffee, tea, live plants, crafts, pet items, kid vendors and other home-made goods. Local authors, special vendors & food trucks vary by season. Farmers Market Pavilion, near the Roubidoux Spring Campground in Waynesville, MO 65583 *Vendors and product availability dependent on weather and other factors

June 1st: Crocker Farmers Market  9 am - 1 pm  The market vendors vary and offer a selection of homemade, home grown, or home cooked goods. Market located Crocker Christian Church parking lot at 16200 Highway 17 South in Crocker, Missouri 65452

June 15th & Every Third Saturday: FFG Monthly 5K Donut Run Begins at 8 am Come run, walk, or bike this free, fun, 5K where everyone is welcome, and then stay for some tasty donuts and coffee!  This month’s run is a color run in conjunction with the Pulaski County Regional Fair so be sure to bring or wear your own white t-shirt! 5K Color Run will be at the St. Robert Community Center in Saint Robert, MO 65584. Normal location is Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, be sure to follow Healthy Futures Pulaski County on Face book for event updates and changes

Additional Noteworthy Events

June 7th: AUSA Annual Golf Tournament  10 am - 4 pm There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, closest to the pin, longest drive, and the putting contest. Tournament located at Piney valley Golf Course located on Fort Leonard Wood post access is required. All proceeds will be put toward our chapter scholarship fund

June 8th: Annual FLW Kids Catfish Derby  9 am -12 pm Join Outdoor Adventure Center for our Annual Kid's Catfish Derby! This FREE fishing event is for youth ages 15 and under accompanied by an adult. There will be great prizes for tagged catfish! Bring your own equipment and bait. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Derby will be held at TA 228 Pond, near FLW 38 on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 Open to the public, but Fort Leonard Wood post access is required.

June 8th: Pulaski County MU Extension 10th Annual Golf Tournament 8 am - 3:30 pm It will be an 18 Hole/2 Person Scramble with a shot gun start and will include the $25,000 Hole in One Contest! Tournament at Oak Hills Country Club at 13351 Canuck Lane in Dixon, Missouri 65459

June 22nd: Humboldt Summer Splurge 8 am - 4 pm A vendor shopping event for the public that will have anything from Antique to Newly Created Crafts and Goods with some delicious food options as well! Humboldt 1854 at 104 N. Commercial Street in Crocker, MO 65452
