September 7th: Crocker Railroad Days A yearly event featuring a parade, greased pig chase, petting zoo & pony rides, and other children’s activities. Lawn Tractor Pull, farmers market, cornhole tournament, street dance, and MORE! 9 am - 5 pm at Crocker Community Park and 7 pm - 10:30 pm at 109 10th Street for Cornhole and Street Dance all in Crocker, MO 65452 Festival entrance is free, some activities may require a fee.

September 7th: Patriots Day Festival 10 am - 4 pm A patriotic event focusing on music, fellowship, and community, as we remember the tragic events which took place September 11th, 2001. Free event at Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583 Festival entrance is free, some activities may require a fee.

September 20th - 22nd: Dixon Cow Days Festival Get a moove on and check out this udderly awesome three-day event! This family-friendly with parade and car show with live music of many genres, karaoke, hot dog eating, and cow calling contests and two chances to win a real cow. The kid’s zone will feature bounce houses, a petting zoo, barrel train, and games. Festival hours are Friday 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 10:00 pm, and special praise and worship day on Sunday 9:30 am - 2:00 pm. All located in Downtown Dixon, MO 65459 Festival entrance is free, some activities may require a fee

September 20th - 22nd: 3rd Annual Route 66 Hogs and Frogs Festival  Grab your ride and Roll on over to Waynesville and check out this great three-day festival filled with multiple activities like: Kids play area, motorcycle show, exotic beard contest, pin up contest, Bart the Motorcycle Dog & kissing booth, cooking competition, axe throwing, kids power wheel racing, live music, and much more. Festival hours: Friday 6pm - 10 pm, Saturday 8 am - 10 pm, and Sunday, 7 am - 4 pm. Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583 Festival entrance is free, some activities may require a fee.

THiS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO OCTOBER 4th due to weather   September 27th: 4th Annual Dixon Annual FFA Truck Pull 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm Hear the engines rev and roar at the most action packed event of the year put on by one of Missouri’s best truck pulling associations. Over 90 trucks pulling for this event! Dixon High School 300 East High School Drive in Dixon, MO 65459 Entry fee required

September 19th thru 22nd: GAEA Goddess Gathering  A wonderful 4-day women's spirituality event focusing on the celebration of the Goddess in every woman. Empowerment, enrichment, & entertainment - a festival for ALL women! Pulaski County Shrine Club grounds at 26920 Shrine Road in Waynesville, MO 65583 Registration is required

September 14th, 21st, & 28th: Haunted River Float Grab your friends, grab your tents and plan to enjoy a 1/2 mile float down the eerie Gasconade River at dark. Additional activities on site: haunted trail, haunted forest and a Haunted House with twenty-five rooms of scares. Zombie Paintball, axe throwing and escape rooms too! Escape Rooms & Axe Throwing begin at 6 pm, all rest of activities begin at dark. Get your scare on at Ruby’s Landing River Resort 22474 Restful Lane in Waynesville, MO 65583 Tickets are required.

September 27th: Community Pride Night 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm Join the Waynesville R-VI community to cheer on our Waynesville Tigers at Community Pride Night! The Waynesville - St. Robert Chamber of Commerce will be handing out FREE hotdogs and soda and area businesses will be handing out all sorts of goodies. Hosted by Waynesville - St. Robert Chamber of Commerce. Waynesville High School in front of the Gymnasium, 200 GW Lane in Waynesville, MO 65583 This is a free event!

September 28th & 29th: Extremicon  It’s a Comicon, it's Extremicon a nerdy event for the whole family! There will be a variety of celebrity guests, anime, artists, authors, cosplay, cosplay contest, costumes, crafter, demonstrations, gaming supplies, giveaways, panels, performers, tabletop gaming, and vendors! Sat 10 am - 7 pm and Sun 10 am - 4pm St. Robert Community Center at 114 JH Williamson Drive in Saint Robert, MO 65584 Entry fee Required

Museums, Farmers Markets, & Other Reoccurring Events

Every Saturday April thru October: Old Stagecoach Stop Museum 10 am - 4 pm The oldest building in Pulaski County built by W.W. McDonald in the mid 1850's and contains 10 rooms of history that have been restored to a different significant period in building's past. 106 Lynn Street in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.

Every Saturday April thru October: 1903 Route 66 Courthouse Museum 11 am - 4 pm The Museum will be closed on Saturday, September 15th. The original courthouse for Pulaski County and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Displays focus on the Trail of Tears, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, local history, and collections of quilts, farm equipment, and antiques. 303 Historic Route 66 in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.

Year Round: Mahaffey Museum Complex Mon thru Fri 8 am - 4 pm & Sat 9 am - 3 pm Mahaffey Museum Complex houses the rich history and contributions of the Military Police, Army Engineers, and Chemical Warfare Units. This complex is adjacent to the WWII Army Complex Museum which replicates Fort Leonard Wood as it was during the 1940’s and the Memorial Grove area. 14296 South Dakota Avenue, Building 1607 on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 Closed August 30th - September 2nd & Federal Holidays Museums are free, but Post Access to FLW is required.

Special Opening During Railroad Days Celebration September 7th and By Appointment: Frisco Depot Museum & Caboose Local history museum featuring numerous artifacts and exhibits detailing the history of the railroad and the lives who helped build it. Guests can even get their photo with a real Frisco Caboose on display just steps away from the museum! Call Crocker City Hall to make an appointment  573-736- 5327  Depot Museum located at 109 10th Street in Crocker, Missouri 65452 Museum entrance is free, but donations are appreciated.

Every Saturday: *Pulaski County Farmers Market 8 am - 12 pm This weekly, year round market features fresh produce, baked goods, live plants, crafts, pet items, kid vendors and other home-made goods. Local authors, special vendors & food trucks vary by season. Farmers Market Pavilion, near the Roubidoux Spring Campground in Waynesville, MO 65583 *Vendors and product availability dependent on weather and other factors. 

September 7th and CANCELLED FOR THE 21st: Crocker Farmers Market  9 am - 1 pm The market vendors vary and offer a selection of homemade, home grown, or home cooked goods. Market located at Crocker Community Park in Crocker, MO 65452 *Vendors and product availability dependent on weather and other factors.  

September 21st & Every Third Saturday: FFG Monthly 5K Donut Run Begins at 8 am Come run, walk, or bike this free, fun, 5K where everyone is welcome, and then stay for some tasty donuts and coffee! This month’s run is in conjunction with Dixon Cow Days on the corner of 2nd Street & Elm in Dixon, MO 65459 Normal donut run location is at Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, follow Healthy Futures Pulaski County on Face book for event updates and location changes.
