Waynesville, Missouri’s most beloved heritage festival, Old Settlers Days is a memorable weekend for all ages!
Immerse yourself in a weekend of living history by exploring mountain man and Civil War re-enactor camps. Observe period artillery & weapons inspections and cavalry & infantry drills. Interactive demonstrations invite you and your companions to participate hands-on.
During the two-day festival you may see familiar faces in the crowd. President Abraham Lincoln and General Grant have both been spotted taking selfies with attendees. Sutlers hawk their wares to re-enactors and Civil War enthusiasts. Live period music fills the air near the bandstand. Vendors offering unique eats and treats line the riverside park’s main thoroughfare. Festival highlights include a period dance Saturday evening and period church service Sunday morning. Civil war battle re-enactments awe spectators both days of the weekend.
