Immerse Yourself in a Weekend of Living History

July 29-30th, 2023

Waynesville’s most beloved heritage festival, Old Settlers Days, is a memorable weekend for all ages! Immerse yourself in a weekend of living history by visiting with the mountain men of the Kickapoo Trace Muzzleloaders Encampment. Visit with period crafters, browse local craft vendors, and participate in hands-on demonstrations.

Vendors offering unique eats and treats line the park’s main thoroughfare. Opening ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Living History Camp and Kickapoo Trace Muzzleloaders Camp open to the public from 10:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop back between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The camps lay alongside the scenic Roubidoux Creek just north of the National Park Service Trail of Tears walkway.
