National Park Service Trail of Tears Memorial and Interpretive Walking Trail. Historical information about the Trail of Tears on markers near the Roubidoux telling the history and plight of the Cherokee as the traveled through this area. Check out the brochure and more additional Information about the Trail of Tears. A beautiful, one mile, concrete walking trail extends from Laughlin Park and the memorial area along the banks of the Roubidoux River leading to the Roubidoux / Waynesville Park.
