Unwind on waters deep in the Ozarks one day, stroll the Antique and Sweets Trail the next.

Yes, that is right. All of us gals need to getaway and Pulaski County is the right choice. First off you will want to decide on the best place to stay. Is it a hotel? Or maybe a quiet resort cabin nestled in the woods? Or maybe your group needs space and a vacation home is what is needed!

Now to figure out what you love to do. Is it shopping? There are plenty of cute shops throughout the area and the Tourism Bureau has pulled together an Antique & Sweet Trail. Wait, What? Sweets? Oh yes. A great selection of homemade cupcakes, fudge and several comfy areas to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Or maybe it’s the outdoors you crave. Indulge in gentle float trips along our pristine river ways. Enjoy excellent bass fishing at any number of our prized fishing holes and reel in trout along the quiet backdrop of the Roubidoux River.

Two museums reside along Route 66 in Waynesville and the military museums of Fort Leonard Wood are spectacular. You won’ t get hungry along the way either as you will find an array of eateries from authentic International flavors, to comfort foods. Pulaski County makes for an epic girls getaway!

Now it’s time to find a new adventure! An afternoon at the shooting range is a blast. Or solve the riddles at the escape rooms. Whatever the case your gal friends will laugh and make memories that you will talking about for years to come. We all know we just need a bit of down time. So come on!
