December 2023 Holiday Events

Throughout the Holiday Season: Holiday Lights in Devils Elbow Enjoy the twinkling lights that span the Devils Elbow 1923 Steel Truss Bridge on Route 66 in Pulaski County, MO. Additional holiday lights displays throughout this historic Route 66 Community also to enjoy. Lights are lit from dusk to dawn daily in Devils Elbow, MO 65459 Free Event.

December 1st: PJ’s and Pancakes 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Grab the kids in their jammies and have breakfast for dinner at this free, family friendly event! Christmas crafts, fun, and games as well as a hot cocoa bar and pics with Santa (bring your own camera.) Waypoint Church 301 Hwy T in Waynesville, MO 65583 Free Event.

December 2nd: FWCSC Annual Holiday Craft & Antique Fair 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  With over 100 booths the Fort Wood Community Spouses Holiday Craft Fair is the most anticipated craft fair in our area! One stop shopping for all of your unique handmade decor, snacks, candles, art and MUCH more! Waynesville High School 200 G.W. Lane in Waynesville, MO 65583 $5 Entry Fee.

December 2nd: Christmas Morning Project 5K & Craft Bazaar 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. 3 options to choose from 5K walk, 5K run, or 5K with obstacle course. All follow the same out and back course. This event features a craft fair on site in the building. All proceeds benefit the Christmas Morning Project. 25785 Red Oak Road in Waynesville, MO 65583. Kids under 6 free, all others can do pre-registration or register on same day.

December 2nd: Christmas on Main Street & Lighted Christmas Parade 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Lighted Christmas Parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. Free food and drinks from local businesses (while supplies last) Santa & Mrs. Claus, carriage rides, Frisco Depot Museum open, Christmas Carols, Farmers Market Christmas Bazaar, food trucks, a variety of vendors & much more! Free event, but vendors will also have items for sale.

December 3rd: Annual Kiwanis Christmas Parade 2 p.m. Get in the Christmas spirit at this annual parade running from Waynesville Middle School on Route 66 to Lynn Street in Downtown Waynesville, MO 65583 Free Event.

December 3rd: 21st Annual Christmas in the Park 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Free refreshments (while supplies last), holiday music, crafts and games and pictures with Santa. Vendors are available on site with holiday booths to do a little shopping. Saint Robert Community Center at 114 JH Williamson Jr. Drive in Saint Robert, MO 65584 Free Event.

December 7th: Christmas on the Square 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. A holiday celebration evening with many FREE food items, give ways, pictures with Santa and the Grinch, a live nativity scene, Old Stagecoach Stop Museum open, holiday activities and MORE! Many vendors are also set up for your holiday shopping or snacking needs. Downtown Waynesville on the Square in Waynesville, MO 65583 Free Event.

December 7th - 26th: Light Up Pulaski County beginning at dusk each day. Explore around Pulaski County and discover holiday Light Displays like no other. Gather up your family and friends, some holiday tunes and stop for some coffee or cocoa and have some memory making fun! Check out the lights map and be sure to vote for your favorite because this is also a contest too!  Light displays are throughout Pulaski County, MO A list of displays is available for this Free event.

December 8th & 9th: Journey to Bethlehem 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Experience the story of the first Christmas at Journey to Bethlehem at this unique immersive walk thru event with live animals and actors recreating Joseph and Mary’s journey to the manger. Crocker Christian Church, 16200 MO-17 in Crocker, MO 65452. Golf cart rides may be available for those in need depending on the weather. Free Event.

December 8th: Jingle Bell Run 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Come enjoy this fun, festive, and free holiday 5K run and be sure to wear your festive best because prizes to be awarded for the top three best dressed and most festive runners! Cookies and cocoa to follow the run, and  Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583 Free event but also accepting hat and glove donations.

December 8th - 10th & 15th - 17th: A Carol for Tiny Tim Live Play by John R. Carroll Fri & Sat showtimes at 7:30 p.m. Sun showtimes at 2 p.m. This warm and wonderful play takes place 15 years after old Scrooge's miraculous transformation as he continues to honor Christmas in his heart. Show at Theater on the Square at 312 Old Route 66 in Waynesville, MO 65583 Tickets Required.

December 9th: Christmas in Richland  Holiday Craft Bazaar 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Richland City Gym & 9th Annual Christmas Parade begins at 4 p.m. in downtown Richland. City Gym located at 204 E. Washington Ave. in Richland, MO 65556 Free Event.

December 9th: Dixon Hometown Christmas 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. A fun night filled with Christmas spirit. A time for last minute shopping, food, vendors, photo ops, FREE hot cocoa, wine tasting, flights of wine, carriage rides and of course visit with Santa! Event at Olde Oak Station 300 S. Elm in Dixon, MO 65459 Free Event.

December 1st thru 15th: Shop Local in PJ’s Online Event Get some of that Christmas shopping done right from the comfort of your own home and check out the Shop Local in PJ's event to find some unique items to bid on and win!

December 9th: Squirrel Tournament 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. an event by The Fallen Outdoors Teams of two compete for prizes at this event with weigh in at end of hunt time. Weigh in location TBD in Waynesville, MO 65583 Registration and hunting rules apply.

December 15th: Vietnam Era Pinning Ceremony Witness the recognition of those who served in the military between November 1955-May 1975, as they are honored and recognized for their service and sacrifice at AUSA’s 4th Pinning Ceremony on December 15th at 1 p.m. at the Ark 25625 MO-17 in Waynesville, Mo 65583. Free to attend, registration required to be recognized.

Every Saturday:  Pulaski County Farmers Market* 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.  This weekly, year-round market features fresh produce, baked goods, locally roasted coffee, tea, live plants, crafts, pet items, kid vendors and other home-made goods. Local authors, special vendors & food trucks vary by season. At the Farmers Market Pavilion, near the Roubidoux Spring Campground in Waynesville, MO 65583 *Vendors and product availability dependent on weather and other factors
