After a five-year absence, the Miss Pulaski County Scholarship Organization is making its return on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The competition will be hosted at Waynesville High School in Waynesville, MO, marking a new chapter for the organization and the young women of the community.
The competition, an official local preliminary for Miss Missouri and Miss America, provides scholarship opportunities and leadership development for young women in the Mid-Missouri area. The Miss America Opportunity is recognized as one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women.
Delegates will compete in categories including interview, talent, evening gown, fitness, and on-stage question.
The Miss Pulaski County Scholarship Organization has a proud history of excellence. Over the decades, its titleholders have gone on to achieve success in education, careers, and service. Past winners have advanced to the Miss Missouri stage, with some earning high placements and special awards including the title of Miss Missouri.
The winners crowned in January will go on to serve as community ambassadors throughout the year and advance to the Miss Missouri Scholarship Competition in Mexico, MO on June 10-13, 2026.
Organizers encourage the community to attend and support the delegates as they showcase their talents, leadership, and community service initiatives. Ticket information to attend will be available on the organization's Facebook page closer to the date of competition.
