Pulaski's beautiful section of the Gasconade River is lined with peaceful farmland and gorgeous bluffs providing excellent kayaking and fishing opportunities.  The river is approximately 280 miles long, located in central Missouri, and is one of the longest rivers contained within the boundaries of the state.  Waters flow northeastward from the southwest section of Pulaski County,  through the outskirts of Laquey and Richland, south of Crocker, to the north of Waynesville, continuing across the county south of Dixon into the Jerome area.  The river is fed by the tributaries; Roubidoux Creek, north of Waynesville, and the Big Piney River, south of Dixon.
