September 13: Patriot Day Festival - Patriot Day Festival is a heartfelt, family-friendly event honoring those who sacrificed everything on 9/11. September 19 - 21: Dixon Cow Days Fall Festival - Enjoy a weekend packed with live music, a parade, car show, karaoke contest, hot dog eating contest, kids’ zone, vendors, food, and more! September 20 & 27: Haunted River Float - Experience a chilling twist on Halloween with a haunted float, trail, forest, cemetery, and a 26-room haunted house! Start with a hayride, paddle past river monsters, explore the dark woods, and face your fears around every corner. September 26 - 28: Extremicon - Step into a world of fandom fun for all ages! From anime and cosplay to authors, artists, gaming, and live demos, there’s something for every kind of nerdy interest. Shop unique vendors, join in on panels, and don’t miss the cosplay contest and awesome giveaways! Fri 3 pm - 8 pm, Sat 10 am - 7 pm, & Sun 10 am - 4 pm. September 26 - 28: Route 66 Hogs & Frogs Fest - Bring the crew for three action-packed days of bikes, beats, and bites! From custom rides and local food trucks to live bands and thrilling competitions — there’s something for everyone at this motorcycle festival! Roubidoux Park, Waynesville, MO 65583. Fri 6 pm - 10 pm, Sat 9 am - 10 pm Festival entrance is free, some activities may require a fee.

September 2: Culpepper & Merriweather Circus - The circus is coming with two unique shows full of excitement. Show times are 5:00 pm or 7:30 pm at Crocker Community Park in Crocker, MO 65452. Tickets required.
September 5: 23rd Annual Know Your World Event - A multicultural evening filled with fun, food, and friends as Military International students share their food and culture. This is a Fort Leonard Wood event but Post Access to FLW is required. Free event
September 6: The Fallen Outdoors Sportsman’s Banquet - Join The Fallen Outdoors for a Sportsman’s Dinner Social—an evening of food, fellowship, and support for Veterans and Service Members. This nonprofit event helps fund FREE therapeutic hunting and fishing adventures aimed at preventing Veteran suicide by fostering hope, connection, and healing through the outdoors. 5:30 pm- 10 pm at Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO. 65583 Tickets required.
September 21 - 25: Find the Pumps Scavenger Hunt - A modern game of hide and seek with mini classic vintage style gas pumps located at local businesses.Take pictures with the fuels pumps then submit them to win a prize at the drawing on October 2! Multiple locations through out St. Robert & Waynesville Free Event
September 27: Mountain Man Experience - Spend the afternoon with the Kickapoo Trace Muzzloaders and experience 1840's life skills like primitive camps, black powder shooting, tomahawk throwing, blacksmithing, flint & steel fire starting, and dutch oven cooking. September 27: Beer Bark & Bar-B-Que - Come enjoy live music, delicious BBQ fare, and multiple fund raising activities to help support some furry friends! All proceeds go to the care of the cats and dogs at Loving Paws Adoption Center. 4 pm - 8 pm American Legion Post 331 at 484 St. Robert Outer Road in Saint Robert, MO 65584 Tickets Required
Museums, Farmers Markets & Reoccurring Events
Year Round: Mahaffey Museum Complex Mon thru Fri 8 am - 4 pm & Sat 9 am - 3 pm - Mahaffey Museum Complex houses the rich history and contributions of the Military Police, Army Engineers, and Chemical Warfare Units. This complex is adjacent to the WWII Army Complex Museum which replicates Fort Leonard Wood as it was during the 1940’s and the Memorial Grove area. 14296 South Dakota Avenue, Building 1607 on Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473 Closed on Federal Holidays Museums are free, but Post Access to FLW is required.
Every Saturday April - October: Old Stagecoach Stop Museum 10 am - 4 pm - The oldest publicly accessible building in Pulaski County built by W.W. McDonald in the mid 1850's and contains 10 rooms of history that have been restored to a different significant time periods in the building's past. 106 N. Lynn Street in Waynesville, MO 65583 Busses, groups, and other visitors are also welcome by appointment. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.
Every Saturday: *Pulaski County Farmers Market 8 am - 12 pm - This weekly, year round market features fresh produce, baked goods, live plants, crafts, pet items, kid vendors and other home-made goods. Local authors, special vendors & food trucks vary by season. Farmers Market Pavilion, near the Roubidoux Spring Campground in Waynesville, MO 65583 *Vendors and product availability dependent on weather and other factors.
September 20th & Every Third Saturday: Free 5K Donut Run - A free monthly 5K run beginning at 8 am with coffee and donuts after the run. At Roubidoux Park in Waynesville, MO 65583. Check Healthy Futures Pulaski County Facebook page for Donut Run locations and time changes. Free Event
